CUERipper Options

Default settings are shown in standard type. Once you change a setting, it will display in bold type.

CTDB

CTDB Server {textbox}

Address of CTDB server. Changing this setting is not recommended.

Metadata search {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

None = None

Fast = MusicBrainz TOC lookup & associated Discogs releases; if not found then freedb TOC lookup.

Default = MusicBrainz TOC lookup & associated Discogs releases; if not found then freedb TOC lookup plus MusicBrainz & Discogs fuzzy search; if not found then freedb fuzzy search.

Extensive = TOC lookups & fuzzy searches in all 3 databases.

Album art size {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

Small = Download thumbnail images (150px for discogs, 250px for musicbrainz/coverartarchive).

Large = Download full size images.

Album art search {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

None = None

Primary = Restrict search to cover art associated with metadata selection.

Extensive = Expand search to all cover art associated with CDTOC plus fuzzy search.

Detailed log {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = CTDBID entries added to verify log.

False = CTDBID entries are excluded for a cleaner look.

Extraction

Preserve HTOA {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = When ripping in tracks mode, any HTOA (Hidden Track One Audio) located in the INDEX 00 (pregap) area of Track 01 will be preserved as an audio file with the track number 00 and title (HTOA).

False = HTOA is discarded and replaced with a PREGAP (silence) command in the cue file.

Detect Indexes (gaps) {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = CUERipper will attempt to find (if any) the INDEX 00 position (start of silence or pregap) for each track.

False = Turns detection off. This also disables detection of pre-emphasis flags.

EAC log style {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = EAC-style extraction log is created.

False = Standard CUERipper extraction log is created.

Create M3U playlist {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = M3U playlist file is created.

False = No M3U playlist file created.

Embed album art {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Album art (if found) will be embedded in the audio file (if the audio file type permits).

False = No Album art will be embedded.

Eject after rip {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Eject CD after extraction has finished.

False = Do not eject CD after extraction has finished.

Disable eject disc {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Prevent CD from being ejected during extraction.

False = Do not prevent CD from being ejected during extraction.

Track filename {textbox}

Filename template when ripping in tracks mode.

Proxy

Proxy server settings (if required for your internet connection, adjust as needed).

Proxy mode {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

Select None, System or Custom.

Proxy server host {textbox}

Enter proxy server address.

Proxy server port {textbox}

Enter proxy server port.

Proxy auth user {textbox}

If authentication required, enter user name.

Proxy auth password {textbox}

If authentication required, enter password.

Various

Freedb site address {textbox}

Site address of freedb host server. To disable retrieving metadata entries from freedb, set to 0.0.0.0

Note: This setting will not change retrieval of freedb metadata already stored in the CTDB.
