Advanced tab

Default settings are shown in standard type. Once you change a setting it will display in bold type.

Cover Art

Cover Art Files {textbox} - search terms separated by a semicolon.

Local cover art search. The JPG filenames on this list are selected (first match) when processing audio files in a local folder in batch modes without prompting. You can arrange, edit or add JPG names as needed to match those most commonly stored with the audio files in your collection.

Cover Art Extended Search {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Extends local cover art search to sub-folders.

False = Local cover art search limited to input folder.

CTDB

Submit to CTDB {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = When verifying, if no entry is found in CTDB and AccurateRip confidence is greater than or equal to the value of 2, CUETools will submit results to CTDB.

False = CUETools will not submit results to CTDB.

Ask before submitting {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Program will ask before submitting to CTDB.

False = Program will not ask before submitting to CTDB.

CTDB Server {textbox}

Address of CTDB server. Changing this setting is not recommended.

Metadata search {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

None = None

Fast = MusicBrainz TOC lookup & associated Discogs releases; if not found then freeDB TOC lookup.

Default = MusicBrainz TOC lookup & associated Discogs releases; if not found then freeDB TOC lookup plus MusicBrainz & Discogs fuzzy search; if not found then freeDB fuzzy search.

Extensive = TOC lookups & fuzzy searches in all 3 databases.

Album art size {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

Small = Download thumbnail images (150px for discogs, 250px for musicbrainz/coverartarchive).

Large = Download full size images.

Album art search {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

None = None

Primary = Restrict search to metadata selection.

Extensive = Expand search to all associated with CDTOC.

Detailed log {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = CTDBID entries added to verify log.

False = CTDBID entries are excluded for a cleaner look.

Freedb

When using freeDB, an email address is required to submit data.

Email user {textbox}

Enter user portion of email address (user@dom.ain).

Email domain {textbox}

Enter domain portion of email address (user@dom.ain).

Site address {textbox}

Enter the freedb database HOST server.

Misc

Create TOC files {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = When verifying or encoding, creates a .TOC text file containing the TOC (Table of Contents) of the processed files.

False = No .TOC file created.

Proxy

Proxy server settings (if required for your internet connection, adjust as needed).

Proxy mode {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

Select None, System or Custom.

Proxy server host {textbox}

Enter proxy server address.

Proxy server port {textbox}

Enter proxy server port.

Proxy auth user {textbox}

If authentication required, enter user name.

Proxy auth password {textbox}

If authentication required, enter password.

Tagging

Cache metadata {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Stores retrieved metadata locally on your system.

False = Program will not store retrieved metadata.

Write CTDB tags on encode {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Writes CTDB tags on encode

False = Program does not write CTDB tags on encode

Write CTDB tags on verify {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Writes CTDB tags on verify

False = Program does not write CTDB tags on verify

Use id3v2.4 instead of id3v2.3 {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = id3v2.4 is used

False = id3v2.3 is used for better player compatibility.

Write CDTOC tag {drop-down list} - Click setting to change.

True = Writes CDTOC tag

False = Program does not write CDTOC tag
